Running angle headed lures

The more I go fishing the more I learn. Over the past few seasons since I have been back crewing for other captains this could not be more true when it comes to making angle headed lures run properly. These lures at times can be very difficult to get to run properly especially with the challenging sea conditions we have in New Zealand. There are a number of things that influence how they run which include head angle, lure weight, sea condition and rigging.  [more...]

Success Stories

"I am using BONZE Lures. I have been charter fishing for 20 years and find these lures as good if not better than any other lure I have used. These lures are part of our every day fishing. I find the strike rate on these lures remarkable and I would certainly recommend these BONZE Lures to anyone".
Captain Bob Ash - MV Target Charters.

"When somebody approaches you and offers you a lure to use you become very sceptical. BONZE gave me a couple of lures to trial a few years back. I used them in the tropical waters of Tonga, returning them in a battered looking condition to BONZE on my return to New Zealand. They had been attacked by all species of fish from MahiMahi, Wahoo, Dog Tooth Tuna and a great number of Blue Marlin. Since then BONZE lures have been the secret of success and satisfaction for many anglers aboard my boat, capturing many blue marlin over 400lbs and up to 750lbs plus many Striped Marlin in New Zealand waters"
Captain Chris Ash- MV Independence
